Buddha’s relics for all to see
Members of the public in Kulai [Malaysia] had the chance to view a treasure trove of Buddhist relics at the Holy Lights From Tibet exhibition at Kulai Kadhampa Buddhist Association recently. Antiques from several countries were featured while visitors had a glimpse of the life of Tibetans in the old days. The Dromtug Rinpoche (third from right) leading prayers at the exhibition’s opening in Kulai Kadhampa Buddhist Association recently. Among the items on display were blood, bone, saliva and brain relics of the Buddha and his principal disciples including Sariputra and Ananda, and that of the arahants (spiritual practitioners).
